Paying it Forward
The sound of water splashing comes to mind as I dive in and write the first post in my blog.
I’ve questioned the purpose of JenTekk’s Blog for a while now, giving it time to permeate my mind.
Finally, last night during a networking meeting, that question wrote it’s answer on my heart.
You see, after graduating from College in 2001 with my website design/internet marketing diploma I set a general course: to quit my day job and pursue my dream.
That dream consisted of being self-employed, doing what I truly enjoy doing and making a living at it.
Sure the road has been somewhat bumpy, occasionally a tire would blow out, and I’ve certainly hit a few dead-ends. Even so, without any business marketing education, I naively continued to forge ahead.
6 years later (I took the scenic route) I’m finally doing it, I mean really doing it!
Fortunately, I had some amazingly supportive people on my side - people who believed in me, and invested their time and energy in my dream. Quality people, who took the time to share their knowledge, offer encouragement, and lend a listening ear - usually over food or coffee!
What has all that got to do with the the purpose of JenTekk’s Blog?
Lots!
What I desire to accomplish through this blog is to Pay it Forward.

Because of the kind generosity of my friends and family; I’d like to share what I have discovered about life, the human spirit, and personal success.
Throughout my journey, I know I’ve only just scratched the surface on what there is to know about these things. However, what I do know I’ll share honestly, with hopes that you are moved one step closer to realizing the dreams and desires of your heart.
Of course, I’ll also be sharing relevant information regarding website design and development, and newsworthy events from my company JenTekk Web Solutions for those of you who are looking to find informative and helpful information regarding internet marketing, growing your business, and website design and development.
If I can be an encouragement to my friends, and fellow business owners, then my job is done here.

Jen,
After seeing the movie Paying it Forward, I began to implement that principle into the mainstream of my life. I am amazed at the results, even on a daily basis! It also compelled me to follow my bliss, thus Imagine Write came to be. I was inspired by your words, thank you!
