I found this extremely helpful. I looked everyone on just how to create a simple menu that LOOKED like all the other menu's. I am just surprised that this infomation isn't more readily available. Thanks so much for putting this together. Is there a good starting Joomla website for beginners that go over simple things like this? Email me and let me know. Keep up the great work. By the way this is the first time I have EVER replied to someone's blog. The reason I did was because you took the time to make this very easy and simple for people like me.

Hi Ajfor. You can create new Menus by following the instructions above, starting with the Menu Manager paragraph.

If you're looking for Template tutorials, check out another one of my blog posts on the recent Joomla 1.5 DemoCamp - listed at the bottom are links to some great resources.

Another fabulous online resource is Tazzu where you can ask questions about Joomla, and members will share their expertise - for free!

Good luck!

Just a quick question - I recently started messing around with Joomla 1.5 and I deleted all the default menus since I wanted a cleam template to work with. Problem is that when I deleted the default menus the menu "bar" underneath the banner has disappeared and now Im not sure how to create another menu bar.

I can create the side menu though. Any help would be wonderful! Thx
